Ted Lasso and AFC Richmond Women join FC 27

Electronic Arts announced on 12 October 2026 a renewed partnership with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment that brings Ted Lasso and AFC Richmond back to EA SPORTS FC. For the first time, AFC Richmond Women, the Lady Greyhounds, are playable in EA SPORTS FC 27.

The team is available under Women's Rest of World and can be used in Kick Off, Career and Online Seasons. Nelson Road, the "Dog Track", also returns as an in-game stadium.

In Manager Career Mode, players can take charge as Ted Lasso and manage AFC Richmond Women, with social media stories, cutscenes, touchline interactions and themed Challenges.

In Football Ultimate Team, new Objectives reward themed Kits, Stadium Cosmetics, Manager Items and more, and count towards Season Progress. EA does not mention AFC Richmond player items in FUT.

Note for Pro Clubs players: the announcement does not include any Clubs or The Grounds content.
