FC 27 Launch Feedback: Champions Fix Live

EA SPORTS has published the EA SPORTS FC 27 Launch Feedback Update on 13 October 2026, addressing the biggest community complaints from the first two weeks after launch. The team confirmed that the FUT Champions matchmaking fix was deployed on 9 October after the first Finals weekend exposed overly broad tuning, and said Career Mode transfer request spam has already been improved in Title Updates v1.0.3 and v1.0.4.

Manual defending difficulty is being monitored rather than rebalanced, fullback defensive depth is under active review, and The Grounds Kickabouts matchmaking is the next area the team is investigating for a queue-time fix. The post also recaps four earlier Developer Launch Updates covering gameplay, Career Mode, FUT and The Grounds, and confirms EA is keeping a close eye on Stamina, Dynamic OVR, Transfer Market trends and Squad Battles feedback.

Pro Clubs players are most affected by the Kickabouts queue-time work inside The Grounds, since Kickabouts and Clubs share the same hub on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2.
