FC 27 Club Members Get David Luiz Evolution
EA SPORTS FC 27 has added a new Club Member reward just ahead of the 1 November deadline. In the official EA SPORTS FC news post published on 28 October 2026, EA confirms that players who play both EA SPORTS FC 27 and EA SPORTS FC 26 before 1 November 2026 become FC 27 Club Members and unlock a Hall of FUT - David Luiz Pathway Evolution, built around the career of the Brazil and Chelsea defender.
Once unlocked, the Evolution becomes available on 1 November and can be completed at each player's own pace. The Evolution is claimed from the Rewards section of the Evolution menu, and a qualifying Player Item has to be submitted first.
EA warns that a submitted Player Item becomes untradable while the Evolution is applied, cannot be discarded, and cannot be used in Squad Building Challenges during that period. Attribute upgrades are also capped, so the base numbers on the chosen item decide how far the Evolution can be pushed.
Three pathways are on offer, each covering a different chapter of the David Luiz career. Path 1, The Finisher, covers his Brazil years and the knuckleball free kick against Colombia in 2014, upgrading Shooting, FK Accuracy, Shot Power and Long Shots and adding the Dead Ball PlayStyle.
Path 2, The Champion, is built around the 2012 UEFA Champions League final, upgrading Defending, Physical, Passing and Penalties up to various caps and adding a Defensive PlayStyle. Path 3, A National Hero, covers his late-career spell at CR Flamengo and the 2022 Copa Libertadores final, upgrading Pace, Physical, Passing and Aggression and adding a build-up PlayStyle.
Players can swap pathway at any time before claiming a level, including at the moment of claiming, and the Evolution Chain Preview shows whether a Player Item can be taken further into a chain. The reward joins the FC 27 Club Member benefits already live since launch, which EA lists as Red Bull-branded kits and crests in Football Ultimate Team, an AXP multiplier in The Grounds, and Gareth Bale in Manager Career and Player Career.
Club Membership itself is a year-by-year programme: existing EA SPORTS FC 26 Club Members keep their status by playing FC 27 before 1 November 2026, FC 24 Founders keep their badge and status, and anyone who misses the required year cannot become a Club Member in FC 27, though they can qualify again in a future FC title. EA also notes that The Grounds mode, including Clubs, is only available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2, so Club Members on other platforms can still claim the Evolution in Ultimate Team but cannot use the The Grounds benefits.
