EWC 2026 LCQ Opens
EWC 2026 LCQ Opens
The Esports Foundation has officially opened registration for the Last Chance Qualifier tournaments at Esports World Cup 2026, taking place in Paris, France from July 6 through August 23. For EA FC players, the Last Chance Qualifier will be held on July 24-26, with 6 players advancing to the Play-Ins stage of the event.
Unlike other LCQ winners who qualify directly for main events, EA FC qualifiers must first compete in Play-Ins to reach the main tournament. The LCQ series is the final stage of qualification for EWC 2026, concluding a global Road to EWC that spans more than 230 tournaments worldwide and has engaged over 350,000 competitors.
The EA FC LCQ is an open-registration, on-site event, giving players one final shot at qualifying for one of the world's premier FC esports competitions. Past LCQ success stories include João 'JafonsogV' Vasconcellos, who qualified through the LCQ in 2024 and went on to win the EA FC EWC championship, inspiring the creation of the 'Jafonso Award' for players who achieve glory after qualifying through the last chance route.
Players interested in competing can register through the official Esports World Cup website.
