Kylian Mbappé is EA SPORTS FC 27 Cover Star
Electronic Arts has officially announced that Kylian Mbappé will be the cover athlete for EA SPORTS FC 27 Ultimate Edition. This marks his return to the franchise cover after FIFA 23, and his first appearance under the EA SPORTS FC brand.
Mbappé will also feature on the cover of EA SPORTS FC Mobile. In a statement, he called it “a very special moment” and said he is eager for players to experience FC 27.
Jeff Sharma, Vice President of Franchise Strategy and Marketing at EA SPORTS FC, welcomed Mbappé back, saying he “embodies the ambition, creativity and global appeal that defines EA Sports FC today.” EA has also confirmed that the full gameplay reveal will take place on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at 9 AM PT. The trailer will premiere on the official EA SPORTS FC YouTube channel.
