FC 27 Ratings Roadmap: World's Debate

EA SPORTS has published the FC 27 Ratings Pitch Notes under the headline 'The World's Debate', giving FC players the clearest reveal schedule the franchise has ever run. Starting 2026-08-15, daily drops will cover the top 27 men's and women's players, Club Star Ratings, and selections from the biggest leagues in world football, leading to the full FC 27 Ratings Database going live at the end of reveal week.

A second update will follow in September after the international transfer window closes, bringing confirmed squad ratings and each player's PlayStyles into the same view. The first Football Ultimate Team campaign of the FC 27 season is named Destined for Glory.

EA is letting the community shape the launch squad: voting opens in the Ratings Database on 2026-08-21 and runs through 2026-09-10, with no cap on how many players a single account can back. Selected players receive live items that upgrade in line with real-world performance, and the campaign itself runs 2026-09-25 through 2026-10-09, lining up with launch week.

EA also confirmed the item-rarity change first shown in the FUT Deep Dive. In FC 27, Bronze, Silver and Gold base items will no longer carry the older Common or Rare variants, so packed, traded and stored cards will read more cleanly.

The simplification matches the cleaner, ratings-led reveal cadence rolling out this week and is one of the last major pre-launch changes EA has signalled for Ultimate Team.
