Bundesliga Extends EA SPORTS FC Partnership

OFFICIAL: The Bundesliga and EA SPORTS FC have extended their long-running partnership. Announced on 27 August at Gamescom 2026 in Cologne, with Bundesliga legend Bastian Schweinsteiger attending as guest of honour, the extension keeps the Bundesliga and 2.

Bundesliga fully licensed in EA SPORTS FC 27, FC Mobile and FC Online, with authentic clubs, players, kits and stadiums. The renewed deal goes beyond traditional licensing.

Both sides will expand collaboration on digital content and new technologies, including TRACAB's data and tracking solutions, and will explore new fan-engagement opportunities through the EA SPORTS App. EA SPORTS FC also remains a long-term partner of the Virtual Bundesliga (VBL), the league's official FC PRO competition, and continues as presenting partner of the Bundesliga Player of the Month and Player of the Season awards.

Germany's Sport Bild reports the agreement runs for around seven years and is worth roughly EUR 250 million, though official terms were not disclosed. For FC players, that means German football's top two divisions stay fully licensed in the next cycle.

For Pro Clubs players, authentic Bundesliga clubs, kits and stadiums remain part of FC 27, and Germany's competitive FC scene keeps its home in the VBL.
