Red Bull Wings Cup Launches for EA FC 27
Red Bull and EA Sports have officially launched the inaugural Red Bull Wings Cup, a new competitive EA SPORTS FC 27 tournament series running from September 2026 through January 2027. The competition is built around two parallel tracks.
The Open League is open to the general public and is played online as 32-player single-elimination brackets on PlayStation. The University League is a campus circuit that visits 21 Spanish universities and uses the Rush mode in FC 27.
Both tracks feed a National Final, which in Spain takes place at GAMERGY Madrid 2026 on December 18, 2026. The National Final matches are played in Kick Off 95 mode to keep conditions equal.
The national champion advances to the Red Bull Wings Cup World Final in Miami in January 2027. United States qualifiers began September 28, 2026, and editions are also live in Canada, Austria, the UAE and other participating markets.
GGTech Entertainment produces the competition, and Spanish FC 27 personality DjMaRiio is attached as a tournament ambassador. Limited-edition Red Bull cans distributed in participating countries include under-the-tab codes that unlock FC 27 in-game rewards valid from September 1, 2026 through August 31, 2027.
For FPCHK readers: this is a new official ladder sitting alongside FC Pro Open for FC 27 competitive players. Registration for the Spanish Open League is open through November 8, 2026, with sign-up on the official Red Bull Wings Cup Spain page.
Pro Clubs squads cannot enter as a unit because the National Final uses Kick Off 95, but individual members can play the Open League brackets and bring sharper 1v1 form back into The Grounds league nights.
