FC 27 Update 1.0.3 Patch Notes Released

EA SPORTS FC 27 Title Update 1.0.3 is scheduled to roll out on October 2, 2026 across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. The patch targets Ultimate Team, The Grounds, Career Mode and general stability without touching gameplay balance, in line with the developers' stated approach of letting FC 27 settle before any major tuning changes.

In Ultimate Team, the update fixes a Moments loading issue that could require a title restart, corrects a visual bug where female managers appeared incorrectly in cutscenes, and prevents unintended match-setting changes inside Squad Battles. For The Grounds — the social hub that houses Pro Clubs on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2 — EA has improved matchmaking reliability and addressed two related issues: certain 5-star Skill Moves could not be used in some game modes, and players in the Goal Control kickabout could occasionally get stuck on a wall.

Both fixes land as Pro Clubs squads complete their first full week inside The Grounds. Career Mode receives a notable fix for Manager Career, where players could request a transfer behind the manager's back with no prior messages or complaints, even when morale was high.

General, audio and visual changes include updated stadium themes, kits and text, plus a fix for a player-duplication glitch on the Club Transfers menu. Version 1.0.3 follows the smaller v1.0.2 release on September 29 that focused on an FC Pro Open registration fix, and continues EA's run of post-launch updates with no gameplay balance changes.
