FC 27 Archetype AP Reset Coming October 22

FC 27 Archetype AP Reset Coming October 22

EA has announced a major update to the Player Archetypes system in EA SPORTS FC 27's The Grounds and Clubs. After reviewing live data since launch, EA found that certain Attributes were incorrectly classified, which affected their Attribute Point (AP) costs.

AP costs are now being rebalanced across every Archetype, and Attacking Positioning is being removed as a requirement for Archetype Specializations, giving players more flexibility. Because upgrade costs and requirements are changing together, EA will reset Attribute Points for all Archetypes in an update deploying by Thursday, October 22 at 2:00am Pacific Time.

Your level and total AP per Archetype will not change, but you will need to redistribute your AP across Attributes after the update. To ease the transition, any player who has previously created a Pro will receive 5,000 Club Coins and one 1.75x AXP Multiplier for 6 Matches.

If you play Clubs or level Pros in The Grounds, plan to rebuild your Archetype allocations after October 22.
