EA SPORTS FC 27 Ultimate Scream Returns
EA confirmed on October 23, 2026 that Ultimate Scream is back in EA SPORTS FC 27. It runs as a two-week Football Ultimate Team event packed with themed Live Events, Objectives, Squad Building Challenges and Evolutions.
Ultimate Scream Player Items arrive with authentic position changes and unique upgrade paths. During the event, players earn Ultimate Scream Tokens by completing themed Objectives, then redeem them in the Token Store for Token Store Ultimate Scream Heroes, Pack rewards and Evolutions.
The Ultimate Scream Store stays open for an extra week after the event ends, giving players time to spend leftover Tokens. The headline feature is By the Light of the Beaver Moon.
Starting November 24, 2026, every Ultimate Scream Player Item undergoes a temporary transformation for one full week, boosting a single face stat to 99 and granting full in-position Chemistry so the card fits any squad instantly. The Token Store also holds two Evolutions, one that upgrades a player's defensive stats and another that offers a PlayStyle+ to a wide player.
Cosmetic Evolutions include retro Ultimate Scream Shells from FUT 17, FUT 19 and FUT 20, available in both the Token Store and the Evolution Store. In the second week Ghoul Fest takes over with a No Rules format where offsides and fouls go unpunished, while two Flash Rush events per week keep Scream Tokens flowing.
Players can also submit a Set of five or more Ultimate Scream Player Items for themed Vanity Items and Gallery Tokens, and Halloween-themed Puzzle SBCs join Ultimate Scream SBCs and Showdown SBCs. Ultimate Scream is Football Ultimate Team content only.
The official announcement lists no Clubs items, AP or Club Coins rewards, so Pro Clubs players should expect no direct mechanical change from this event.
