FCS Asia 27 Opens: EA FC 27 Cup From Nov 1

EA SPORTS FC 27's officially licensed FC Community Series is back in Asia for its fourth season, with a refreshed name and logo. Sports IT Solution announced on 29 October 2026 that FC Community Series Asia 27 (FCS Asia 27) will open its first tournament series with an online open qualifier on 1 November 2026.

The final qualifier takes place on 28 November and the offline final is on 13 December 2026 in Tokyo. The Japanese circuit keeps six seasons a year, and each season runs three stages: an open qualifier, a final qualifier and a final tournament.

Entry is PS5 only, using FC 27 on PlayStation 5, and the open qualifier is played through PlayStation Tournaments in FUT mode. PC, Xbox and PS4 builds are not eligible.

The open qualifier runs from 1 to 14 November, is hosted several times a day in eight-player single-elimination brackets, has no club restrictions, and pays 500 FC Points to the winner plus an invitation to the final qualifier, with 100 FC Points for second place. From the final qualifier onward, squad restrictions follow the FC Pro world championship rules, and every finalist must stream their matches on their own channel.

The Tokyo final pays 100,000 yen to the champion, 30,000 yen to the runner-up and 10,000 yen to third place and below, with travel and accommodation subsidies for the players who qualify for the offline stage. FCS Asia 27 also comes with a refreshed tournament logo and creative, and the organisers say they plan to significantly expand the countries and regions covered under a BEYOND BORDERS plan, with details for markets outside Japan to follow.

Last season the series ran across Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Indonesia with roughly 50,000 participants in total.
